COMMUNITY PICNIC

Thank you for making our Ulloa Community event such a great success! It was wonderful to see so many families get together on campus for a lovely day of fun, food and friends. We can’t wait to see everyone again next year!
HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION & PARADE
Tuesday, October 31, 2023
Get ready for some costume parading, trick-or-treating and spooky activities on campus during the school day. Please drop off any kids costumes you'd like to donate at the front office at any time after August 16th, and look for more information soon on volunteering opportunities for our Halloween festivities.
HOLIDAY EVENT

There was no snow at the event but we had plenty of rain! The Children’s Center was kind enough to lend us their space so everyone could get holiday cookies, crafts, and hot cocoa. We also took class photos in our holiday photo corner.
READ-ALOUD, BOOK EXCHANGE & PAJAMA DAY

Family members may sign up to read a book aloud to their class or volunteer to help PTA organize books or work the day of the book exchange while kids peruse and select books to take home. Plus everyone gets to wear pajamas! Bring your book donations to the front office any time so we have plenty of books for the kids to choose from.
WALK-A-THON

Our second largest fundraiser of the year, this is a fun day for our Ulloa kids to show their school spirit through healthy activity, learn about fundraising and soliciting friends & family for important donations to their school, and for families to come cheer their kids on. You may spot some speedy Ulloa staff out there on the track too!
Volunteers needed to solicit prizes and gift card donations from friends and businesses, pass out water, count laps and award treats after the races.
EARTH DAY GARDENING EVENT

Come help us stay green and support our Ulloa Gardens! We love to enjoy the ocean air together while refreshing our Butterfly, Shapes, Learning and Quiet Zone gardens. Happy plants make for happy gardening lessons.
TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK
May 6-10, 2024
In honor of our teachers and staff, PTA organizes a full week of breakfast/snacks/treats and a special luncheon. We also raffle off gifts to Ulloa teachers and staff members and host daily activities to support the theme of the year.
Volunteers needed: To solicit gifts and gift card donations from friends and businesses, prepare event flyers, manage food sign-ups, etc. On the day of the luncheon we need help to set-up, serve food and clean up.
5TH GRADE GRADUATION
May/June 2024 (Date TBD)
PTA will host a reception after the graduation ceremony ends. (Ceremony starts at 10:00 a.m.)
Volunteers needed morning and day of Graduation, to do final set-up, manage photo walls and general traffic, give out gifts/treats and clean up.
