Volunteering not only helps our school community but it is also a rewarding experience that opens up opportunities to meet other families, participate in fun school events, or to use your own skills and talents in a beneficial way. There are many ways to make a difference:

HELP IN THE LIBRARY
Spend an hour or two with the school librarian to make the library the best that it can be for the students. Sign up here.
BE A COMMUNITY GARDENER
Help our Climate Corp educator in keeping the garden maintained so that it can be a great place for the students to thrive. Sign up here.
KEEP THE YARD CLEAN AND SAFE
Make our school yard safe and welcoming for the students by helping with cleanup. More information to come.
JOIN AN EVENT COMMITTEE
Our event committees play an important part in planning and running our many school events. Consider joining an event committee to help our school offer wonderful events for our community.

BE A PTA PARENT LIAISON
Our Parent Liaisons help bridge the connection between our families, Room Parents and our PTA officers. They are invited to all monthly PTA Board meetings and can contribute to conversations on event planning, PTA program initiatives and PTA budget considerations. We rely on our Parent Liaisons to be an important voice in all PTA activities as their schedules allow.
BECOME A PTA BOARD MEMBER
There are many positions that run our PTA Board. Officers are voted in and can hold a position for up to 2 years. Positions are President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. Besides the official board member roles, we have parent liaison positions where you can get involved while supporting the Board.
CONTRIBUTE YOUR UNIQUE SKILLS
Here is where you can let your unique skills and talents shine while supporting the school in a more behind-the-scenes role. Volunteer by being a language translator, creating flyers for events, organizing volunteer sign-ups, photographing events, teaching students how to cook a dish or do an art project, leading a gardening lesson, coordinating Bike & Roll to School Day, etc. Please let us know if you are interested in sharing your unique skills through student or family activities!
